All Vegan Eatery makes debut in Brum

After months of anticipation, Birmingham has become the home of a vegan-friendly, sugar free eatery – the first of its kind in the city.

Last weekend, Natural Healthy Foods opened their second site on Suffolk Street, following a successful 18 months trading at their Digbeth store, where they found that foodies in and around the city were becoming increasingly hungry for healthier options.

Unlike their original store, the new eatery will serve hot and cold dishes, along with snacks and beverages using a range of diverse ingredients and cooking essentials, to help those looking to adopt a healthy plant-based lifestyle.

Priding themselves on hosting Birmingham’s best supply of organic fruit and vegetables, co-founder Simon McCarroll says the new eatery will have such a variety of products that customers will find there’s enough to complete their entire weekly shop.

For those living a healthy plant-based lifestyle, we’re basically a micro supermarket, stocking everything from fruit and veg, to fresh herbs, supplements, protein powders as well as store cupboard staples such as pasta and noodles – all gluten free of course.

The team has built up a loyal customer base since introducing its first store in Digbeth, and has since grown business relationships with popular brands such as, Viridian, Biocare and Pukka.

We will be stocking over 1500 natural healthy products in our new eatery, which will be available to customers 7 days a week, and we’re also proud to host Birmingham’s first ever Kombucha bar.

The new venue will receive culinary guidance from Birmingham-based chef, Nick Shrimpton, who has produced the first menu, which samples; Sri Lanken dhal curry, smokey black bean chilli with walnut chorizo, creamy kale with ginger and miso dressing and zucchini spaghetti with creamed porcini mushrooms and truffle oil.

Natural Healthy Foods will be open 7 days a week, from 10am-9pm.
