Bad Girlfriend EP launch at Cafe Artum

Bad Girlfriend EP 3 Part 3 is here! -3PM Doors, £3-

Continuing with the theme of taking our show to Birmingham’s top independent venues, we bring you to Café Artum. Having only opened in April this year, serving records, coffee and art, the cafe has already made big waves in local electronic music scene.

Utilising the venues turntables we have the boys from Kaleidoscope, the city’s finest purveyors of psych and garage, spinning wax throughout the day.

The sick poster this time designed by local artist/comic book artist/photographer Allan Maddie-Cottam, who will have some of her work available to buy at the event (www.instagram.com/maddiecottamallan/)

–LIVE–
Bad Girlfriend (acoustic)
Bringing you something a bit different and a nod to the bands roots, Bad Girlfriend bring an acoustic set which promises to be as raucous as ever. The 3rd show to support their 3rd EP, coinciding with the release of the next single from the EP, a real corker, be excited.

Swampmeat Family Band (acoustic)
Surely require no introduction, with their unique blend of punk and country, Swampmeat manage to be gritty and infectiously fun at the same time. Anyone that has been to a Swampmeat show will no doubt agree that it doesn’t get much better than the family band’s show.

Miles Cocker (acoustic)
Everyones favourite Birmingham acquisition, Miles Cocker has an impressive musical career and now brings his solo set to life, a catawampus amalgamation of despondent revenge songs, wrapped up in hopelessly romantic metaphor.
