Bottomless Brunch at Lost & Found Review

Nestled deep in the heart of the city, Victorian hideaway, The Lost & Found launches an enticing new Bottomless Brunch menu, brimming with Bloody Mary’s, Bellinis and show-stopping, sumptuous bites.

To celebrate the launch on Sunday 19th November, The Lost & Found hosted an exclusive, one-off brunch event in collaboration with famous cold-brew coffee liqueur, Mr Black.

We were treated to some exceptionally tasty treats. The Eggs Royale with bacon were cooked to perfection and stand up to the best I have tasted (in Melbourne Australia), whilst the smashed avocado with Mushrooms, I am told by my companion, were equally as delicious. The nearest competition to this bottomless brunch would be Gaucho off Colmore Row, which does not compare if I am honest. The service was also attentive but not overly so – just right!

There was a knowledgeable representative of Mr Black who prepared cocktails such as an Old Fashioned (Mr Black, Bourbon, chocolate bitters, orange zest and sugar), Spiced Iced Coffee (Mr Black, spiced rum, agave syrup and milk), and Coffee Alex (Mr Black, cognac, crème de cacao, milk, cream, orange bitters and nutmeg). Our hosts were kind enough to substitute the cow’s milk for soya milk and this actually tasted even better.

Bottomless Brunch at Lost & Found is available Saturdays and Sundays from 11 – 3pm for pre-bookings only, the botanical library of this fabled and extraordinary haunt is the perfect spot for a bottomless brunch. To book your table, call 0121 643 9293 or email info@the-lostandfound.co.uk and unlock the world of Hettie G.
