Green Lane Masjid & Community Centre are currently working on a number of projects such as a foodbank, food kitchen for the homeless and a big elderly meet up.
This may be of interest to all organisations who deal with homelessness and foodbanks as well as people aged 50+ who wish meet others and to socialise, to help out with the situation.
GLM are currently working with a number of organisations around the Birmingham area for foodbank, so if you have any customers who require food around the Birmingham area, please do not hesitate to spread the word. GLM will get some foodbank vouchers sent to your organisation.
The food kitchen, serving hot food for the homeless around Birmingham is due to open shortly, please spread the word to all relevant organisations. The GLM team will be handing out flyers to anyone they see sleeping rough.
