Wine Bars are making a come-back, Brum has gone full circle and the arrival of Cheval Blanc is testimony to that.

Cheval Blanc is a cosy wine bar nestled in Moseley high street, offering great quality wines, cocktails and food. Part of a small chain, other bars include The Prince of Wales, The Dark Horse and The British Oak.

Birmingham’s suburbs have been lacking a quirky, cool, sophisticated independent wine bar and Cheval Blanc fills that niche perfectly. In fact it’s hard to think of anything else like this in the whole of the city. Wine Bars tend to be more formal, and often part of large commercial chains, but Cheval Blanc bucks that trend and the only thing similar within a 30 mile radius is Bottles in Worcester.

The food is imaginative from Artisan Breads & Flavoured Oils to Crushed Avocado & Pine Nut Spread, Rye Crisp Bread, Chicken Liver & Port Pâté on Toasted Sourdough Bread to Ham Hock and Chicken Terrine. Or what about Earl Grey Tea Cured Salmon to Confit Duck Wings with Honey.
