Starters include delcious dishes such as Journeys Veg Platter (Chef’s finest selection of vegetarian dishes: Paneer Skewer, Kumb Pudina Tikka and Spinach Onion Bhaji), Spinach Onion Bhaji (Traditional Indian onion bhaji with fresh spinach. Served with home made mint and tamarind chutney), Aloo Tikki Chana Chaat (Home made potato patties served with chick peas, tamarind and mint chutney with yoghurt), Hazari Murgh Tikka (Chicken breast marinated in ginger garlic chilly and ajwain (carom seeds), cream cooked in tandoor) and Mahi Amritsari (Chunk of cod fillet marinated in spice and ajwain, golden fried in a gram flour batter).
Mains are equally as tempting with mouth watering recipes of Lucknowi Chicken Korma (Tender cube of chicken breast slow simmered in a rich creamy sauce of cashewnut onion and aromatic spices, finished with cream), Chicken Chettinadu (Madras Chicken made in a spicy chettinad of ground coconut, curry leavess, fennel and the chef’s mix of South Indian spices), Makkai Khumb Palak, (Baby corn and mushrooms tossed with spinach leaves, pure tempered with ginger, garlic and green chilly), Malai Kofta Curry (A creamy cheese kofta bound with dry fruits and simmered in a silky smooth full bodied tomato gravy), Journeys Lamb Shank (Slow cooked in a onion base tarka with ginger garlic and gram masala, further flavoured with nutmeg and fresh coriander), Awadhi Lamb Korma (A classic tender piece of lamb slow cooked in rich creamy sauce infused with kewra water (himalayan screwpine flavour), saffron and chef chosen spices) and Alleppy Fish Curry (Tilapia pieces simmered in a traditional mix of South Indian masala, onion, tomato, green chilly, curry leaves and tamarind juice, finished with coconut milk).
