Saint Pauls House encompasses a restaurant, bar and boutique hotel. The design and concept suggest a nod to the casual, yet contemporary buzz of Shoreditch. With opulent finishes throughout, a vibrant food and drink offer and a carefully selected team, Saint Pauls House emboldens Birmingham’s love for the Jewellery Quarter.

There’s no doubt that one of Saint Pauls’ biggest assets is the location. Set on St Pauls Square in the heart of The Jewellery Quarter, just minutes from Birmingham’s business district, creative quarter, shopping districts and a wealth of great places to visit. Birmingham is currently experiencing a new lease of life due to high investment in the City and The Jewellery Quarter showcases the very best that the city has to offer.

Food

Saint Pauls House offers casual dining in beautiful but, comfortable surroundings. Offering a good range of dishes perfect whether you are after a quick bite at lunchtime or a 3-course dinner.

The menu offers delights such as Vegan Dipping Boards (pea & artichoke hummus, roasted garlic and butternut dip, balsamic mushroom and olive pâté, served with pitta bread, carrot sticks & apple wedges), Chicken Wings (Spicy Chipotle, Maple BBQ, Tequila & Lime, Garlic Butter), Cauliflower Wings (served with a blue cheese or ranch dressing dip), Buffalo Spice.

Burgers are served with romaine lettuce, beef tomato, gherkin, house burger sauce on a seeded brioche bun with skinny fries with temptations such as Have It Your Way (8oz beef burger, crispy cured bacon, crumbled blue cheese & a crispy hash brown), Buttered Fried Chicken (lightly breaded chicken breast topped with pickled red onion, cheddar cheese, ranch dressing and touch of a hot secret sauce) and the Fish Burger (lightly battered cod fille, homemade slaw & tartare sauce).

Other delicious dishes include: Fish & Chips (battered cod fillet served with minted mushy peas, triple-cooked chips & homemade tartare sauce), Peppered Duck Breast (served with green beans, dauphinoise potatoes & orange reduction), Chicken Supreme (with wild mushroom and tarragon sauce, crushed new potatoes & green beans), Lamb Shank (slow-roasted lamb shank served with root vegetables, creamy mash & rosemary jus), Aubergine, Fennel & Tomato Curry (served with mini poppadoms, yoghurt & cauliflower couscous) and Salads & Pastas.

From the grill there are a superb variety of steaks from 8oz Fillet Steak served with confit red onion, roast cherry vine tomato, lambs leaf & triple cooked chips to Chateaubriand (for 2) served with onion rings, mushrooms, grilled tomato & sauce of your choice and Harissa Spiced Cauliflower Steak (Ve) served with warm lemon & chickpea salad.

Breakfast is served Monday to Sunday 8am to 12pm with Full English Breakfast, Cumberland sausage, bacon, grilled tomato, mushroom, fried egg, beans, hash browns & toast. Veggie Breakfast includes veggie sausages, tomato, mushroom, fried egg, beans, sautéed potatoes & toast (V) (GFA). Other options include Steak & Eggs, Baked Shakshuka, Egg Florentine, Egg Benedict and easy options such as Sausage Sandwich, Bacon Sandwich, Smashed Avocado, Mushroom, Spinach & Fried Eggs, Smoked Salmon & Scrambled Eggs.

Saint Pauls House also serve a hearty Sunday Roast. All roasts are served with roast potatoes, honey roasted carrots and parsnips, braised red cabbage, homemade Yorkshire puddings & lashings of red wine gravy. Choose from Roast Sirloin of Beef, Roast Chicken, Honey Glazed Gammon and a fab Homemade Nut Roast.

You will also find a wide selection of brunch options, bar snacks and moreish desserts.

Drink

The drinks range is extensive. Ensuring guests have something that they can’t get elsewhere not forgetting the old favourites that never go out of style. A simple but well-executed cocktail menu is also available, prepared by a team of experts. There are house cocktails from Yellow Passion (Crystal Head vodka, chartreus, passionfruit purée & apple juice) to Rumdemption (Kraken spiced rum, Disaronno, cherry purée & cranberry juice). Beers on tap and by the bottle are also carefully selected to offer a refreshing pint!

Saint Pauls House have carefully selected their favourite wines from around the globe for you to enjoy. Whether it’s a sensational Sauvignon Blanc or a mighty Malbec that takes your fancy, they got the perfect bottle to complement your meal. Carefully selected bottles such as Gancia Pinot di Pinot (Italy), Laurent Perrier Grand Siècle Brut (France), Daciana Sauvignon Blanc, Banat (Romania), Vidal Sauvignon Blanc, Marlborough (New Zealand), Nederburg The Manor Chardonnay, Western Cape (S. Africa), Pulpo Albariño, Rías Biaxas (Spain), Puro Organic Malbec, Mendoza (Argentina), Willi Opitz Welschriesling Eiswein, Burgenland (Austria)  and Dow’s Late Bottled Vintage Port (Portugal) will take you on a tipsy travel around the world with wine.
