Local Talent Needed to work with WSTRN & Tim Westwood

Capital XTRA’s Music Potential funded by Big Music Project is back for 2016! This year Birmingham sees the return of a unique programme tailored for up and coming creatives with a passion for the music & media industry and opportunities to work with TIM WESTWOOD & WSTRN.

Music Potential provides professional development in the competitive entertainment industry with a winning combination of star-studded ambassadors, theory based & hands-on learning & once in a lifetime performance opportunities. Our renowned tutors are handpicked to teach a variety of 4 week industry programmes.

The five courses on offer cover:

Radio Production | Music Production | Video Production
Songwriting & Performance | Event Management

Over four weeks attendees will experience group sessions, collaborative opportunities, confidence development, unique one-to-one professional industry mentoring, workshops, a nationally recognized qualification and of couse FREE LUNCH, TRAVEL & MATERIALS!

Music Potential is celebrating its fourth year in Birmingham, delivered by Punch, and has grown from strength to strength. Course attendees have gone on to achieve huge professional milestones from performing on the main stage at Barclay’s British Summertime Ball, sharing the stage with the likes of Sam Smith, presenting on Capital Xtra’s drive time show and working behind the scenes, curating a live music event that brings in an audience of over 200 music lovers and so much more.

How the application process works:

REGISTER to attend a Music Potential BootCamp Day. Designed to give a little snippet of what to expect, and for us to find out a little more about you. Expect to take part in workshops, speak to industry professionals (including TIM WESTWOOD now confirmed) and meet Music Potential 2015 graduates.

SELECTION: If we see you have the potential, dedication and passion you will be selected as part of the final group of 60 and receive a call back to attend our 4 week programme and work alongside our ambassadors (WSTRN and other artists tbc)

Dates: Thursday 7th July & Friday 8th July (only one date required)

Please note, registrants have to be between 18-25 yrs and not currently working/studying or training to attend. Please note Music Potential Course will take place from July – August 2016.
