Post Paradise 17 at Centrala 24th April

Post-Paradise is a grassroots experimental music series run by a collective of composers based in Birmingham, UK.

Now in its third season, they have created a centre of activity for new music in the city, programming established and emerging composers from the UK and abroad.

For Post-Paradise(17) we have:

Manchester based composer, performer, and writer on music, Lawrence Dunn whose current musical preoccupations include melody, harmony, lightness, disappointment, mnemonics, informality, experiment, sadness, and joy.

Scotland based composer and improviser Stephan Chase whose practice mainly explores aspects of interaction between people, action and sound, sound and space, space and time. And composer Victoria Benito, based in Birmingham and Marid, who previously studied aerospace engineering and robotics.
