Royal Enfield is Returning to Redditch

After 52 years, Royal Enfield is returning to Redditch! The borough has been chosen for the exclusive European unveiling of a new model to Royal Enfield’s brand new trials Bullet.

The brand new “Concept KX” is a V-Twin motorcycle and will be accompanied by 16 other motorcycles ranging from Classic, Bullet, Interceptor INT 650, Continental GT 650 and Himalayan to take visitors on a journey through the past, present and future of the iconic brand in a museum style showcase.

Each weekend over the course of the six week Showcase there will be something new for visitors to see and hear.

Thanks to support from Kingfisher Shopping Centre, the local Royal Enfield Owners’ Club and other community and history groups, the Showcase will appear in the shop opposite Clintons and the original Royal Enfield Shop, on Church Green, which will boast a new frontage and display, the way it would have looked in time gone by.

Domonique Lippett, Kingfisher Marketing Manager said:

We are extremely proud to be hosting The Royal Enfield Showcase which is a wonderful tribute to the iconic brand which originated here in Redditch. We hope guests to the Kingfisher will visit the Showcase to view this fascinating display of bikes and feel proud as a community that Redditch was where it all began.

We have created a special commemorative hashtag #RoyalEnfieldRedditch in the hope of bringing the community – past and present – together to share their memories of Royal Enfield and photos from their visit to the Showcase.

The Showcase is open every Saturday from 10.30 until 4pm and will boast a different theme each week including a visit from Ben Reid-Howells and Prashant Kumar who have returned to England after a three year ‘Vasudhaiva Ride’ on Royal Enfield bikes.

Over the six week period, it will also be open in the week from 10am until 2pm.
