Fri 20 July | 8pm | £22 / £19 | Arena | Ages 14+

Starting out as the band behind the late great Ian Dury, the Blockheads are a legendary outfit who have grown in stature from the early days of the Stiff tour in 1977, right up to the present day, winning a legion of fans of all ages along the way.

Don’t miss your chance to catch them live and still crackling with cool charisma, as they swagger their way through an illustrious back catalogue including ‘Hit Me with your Rhythm Stick’, ‘What A Waste’ and ‘Reasons to be Cheerful (Part 3)’ and ‘Sex & Drugs & Rock & Roll’, along with rock-solid new material.

The Blockheads are fronted by Derek ‘The Draw’ Hussey and Chaz Jankel; Norman Watt-Roy, John Turnbull and Mick Gallagher still remain from the original band. The current line-up is augmented by John Roberts on drums and a rolling line-up of saxophonists that includes Gilad Atzmon, Terry Edwards and Dave Lewis.
