The Old Crown goes green for St Patrick’s launching a week-long programme of events! The Old Crown in Digbeth (www.theoldcrown.com) is being transformed into a Guinness village and lighting itself green as it prepares to celebrate a week long programme of events for St Patricks Week 2018.

On Monday March 12th the pub will host a one-off Peaky Blinders Tour, exploring the Irish connection to the Birmingham gang who inspired hit TV show Peaky Blinders, hosted by historian Professor Carl Chin MBE. The Mockingbird Cinema and Kitchen get involved on March 13th for a special screening of “The Commitments” based on the Roddy Doyle novel – the first in “The Barrytown Trilogy.”
