Bierkeller in Brum for Christmas Lillian Keen

The Bierkeller is set to open in Birmingham in just over a month making its arrival in time for Christmas.

The Bierkeller is a unique German Bavarian drinking and dining experience which has already established itself in various cities across the UK.

The bar is anticipated to be one of the trendiest and most distinctive bars on Broad Street as it’ll have three venues within one and will offer a completely different and unique experience.

Della Ross, the entertainment manager for The Bierkeller explains: “There’s ‘Shooters Sports Bar’, showing sporting events on a massive 4k screen, plus sporting legends dropping in for meet and greet events.

“There’s the ‘All Around the World Bar’ offering great food and beers from all over the world, with some of the best club DJ’s around plus live acoustic acts every day.

“Friday and Saturday is where the amazing Bavarian Stompers take to the stage. Think standing on the benches German toasts and lots of laughs!”

The bar will open 70 new job opportunities in Birmingham as it takes the place of the former Brannigans site on Broad Street.

Brad Hanson, trumpeter for The Bierkeller said: “It’s a great job, I look forward to work every weekend, it’s a completely different vibe to any other bar, it’s got real style and culture.

“I’ll be playing the opening night in Birmingham which is exciting because it’s a real thriving city and The Bierkeller will just polish the city off as a great place to visit.

“It’s a fantastic venue for all ages, it hosts student nights as well as 70th birthday parties!”

The doors will open for the first time on Friday 9th December. It’ll be the perfect first sip of Christmas spirit, so make it yours.
