Start your evening by viewing The Bond Café’s new photography exhibition, and then join the Eastside Projects volunteers as they race the clock to show you their best bits of Display Show. Pop over to Minerva Works where you’ll find Stryx’s closing event for their recent artist residency programme, experimental animation and Darkfire Dub at Centrala and spicy Indian veggie street-food. Vivid Projects are launching This Mortal Coil with Molotov cocktails and Grand Union has a special evening in store from the exciting culinary skills of Nomad chefs in collaboration with their artists in residence.

Finish your evening with a bang! Join Digbeth Residents Association outside The White Swan pub for a bonfire with a difference, fireworks and sparklers!

Centrala: Antonisz- experimental animation + Darkfire Dub, 7pm

Screening of the experimental animation of Julian Antonisz- “…Only films made with the Non Camera technique can be called authentic works of visual, painting, graphic and musical art.”

20:30 Darkfire Dub [Viral Audio] -3 Hour Audio-Visual Set hosted by Zion MC plus guests.

Bombay Tapas: Indian Street Food, 5.30–11pm

Bombay Tapas will be serving fresh, homemade, authentic Indian vegetarian/ vegan street food outside Centrala Gallery. A fusion of Indian delicacies with East African flavours.

Grand Union: Tapas and Cocktails with Nomad and Artists-in-Residence, 7–10pm

For November Digbeth First Friday join us in the gallery space 7-10 for a unique evening of food by Nomad and art. For the month of November we welcome two new resident artists to the Grand Union Studios, Cristóbal Gracia from Mexico City and Katharina Ludwig from Berlin.

Stryx: SOUP: PT II 6.30–8.30

November DFF will be the closing event for Soup PTII residency and artists will present the audience with work they have produced throughout the 8 weeks programme. 

Vivid Projects: THIS MORTAL COIL: Season Launch, 7–9pm

Grab a Molotov cocktail at our Cold War Bar to celebrate the launch of This Mortal Coil, an exhibition and events season exploring representations of death and the macabre. 

Eastside Projects: First Friday Takeover, 6–8pm

This Digbeth First Friday Eastside Projects’ volunteers are taking over. They’ll be racing against the clock to tell you all about a piece in Display Show, or introduce their favourite long-term art work.

Digbeth Residents Association: Bonfire with a difference! 7pm/9.30pm
