1847 Birmingham

1847 Birmingham (formerly Bistro 1847) is the 3rd location for this small collection of vegetarian bistros. Their aim is to raise the standard of vegetarian food and drink in stylish, relaxed surroundings.

They’re located in the heart of the city centre within the Great Western Arcade on Colmore Row. The Development Chef for 1847 has created a menu full of British styled dishes, using where possible, ingredients sourced locally.

Vintage Cheddar brûlée, gin-marinated caramelised pineapple & blacksticks blue, Celeriac & Granny Smith hush puppies & Earl grey & brandy tea loaf are a small selection of items on the á la carte menu.

They also offer a lunch menu Monday to Friday. On offer is a full list of cocktails such as spiced caramel apple or English garden, plus an extensive wine, spirit and beer list.

1847 Birmingham are approved by both the Vegetarian and Vegan societies meaning all their ingredients including wines, beers and spirits have been checked and are approved.
