PST Members Club

PST was a vision born way back in the early 80’s, it was a vision of people coming together as one (People Stand Together) with one ingredient which was music. The man with the vision is the man we know as Pecker. Coming from a reggae background with his love of heavy weight dub music, he put together a soundsystem and played at a few local pubs and house parties around Moseley and Balsall Heath areas of Birmingham.

In the late 80’s he got his first small venue on the corner of Belgrave rd and Stratford rd, it was a place where the locals could go and let their hair down, called The Unit. In 2006 Tony, a friend of Pecker and Specta decided it was the right time to look for a premises that they could run legally as a late night venue and they found one. It was an old factory that had seen better days and needed a lot of work to bring the vision to life. They needed a name for the vision a name that people could relate to and came up with PST (People Stand Together).
