The tour’s heading for The Old Crown in Digbeth, 14th to 17th July…with Johnny Vaughan live on Friday 15th!

We’ve been inundated with people asking us so we’ve decided it’s only fair that we officially finally let the cat out the bag. Birmingham’s oldest pub is being taken over and they’re bringing some special guests with them!

Radio X has teamed up with Strongbow Cloudy Apple and will be taking over The Old Crown from the 14th – 17th July with Jonny Vaughan broadcasting live.

If this wasn’t enough Ocean Colour Scene will be opening the pub with an exclusive acoustic set at 7PM on Thursday 14th July with DJ’s and free pints of Cloudy Apple all round!

Strongbow Cloudy Apple is a premium, cloudy cider with cut-through refreshment from the crisp, and rich taste of bittersweet apples from Herefordshire. The result is an intensely refreshing sparkling cloudy cider, not to be missed.

That’s why; Radio X’s Johnny Vaughan is travelling across the country with Strongbow Cloudy Apple, broadcasting live from some of the best pubs in the UK. Not only that, he’s also bringing the best in pub entertainment including darts competitions, pub quizzes and plenty of live DJ sets.

So far, Radio X have had two unbelievable sessions in pubs in Bristol and Manchester. There now bringing their takeover to Birmingham, so let’s do ourselves proud!

From 14 to 17 July, The Cloudy Apple will be at The Old Crown in Digbeth…
And Ocean Colour Scene will be playing an exclusive acoustic set at 7pm on Thursday 14 July – they’re back as they celebrate the 20th anniversary of Moseley Shoals.
