The Ceol Castle re-launches as The Castle & Falcon

The Castle & Falcon re-launches on Friday 31st March as a live music venue and late night bar on Moseley Road in Birmingham.

Performing on the opening night are old school rhythm, blues and soul nine piece from Moseley, The Atlantic Players, raucous rockabilly and country band Harry & The Howlers alongside local legend and BBC Radio 6 music’s favourite DJ, Sam Redmore.

Five years ago the venue was a staple amongst the live music scene in Birmingham with queues around the corner to get in. The venue re-launches on this spring with regular gigs brought to you by Birmingham Promoters and weekly club nights featuring some of Birmingham’s most popular DJ’s.

With bands from far and wide having played at the popular Brum nightspot and a recent sell out gig with a popular American indie band, Pinegrove, it’s exciting to see this venue hosting new and upcoming talent once again.

Owner Dominic Molloy said: “This pub has been in my family for many years and we are all really excited to show you the big changes we have made.”
The new venue has two downstairs bars that will be able to accommodate up to 350 people and will serve cider, beer, craft bottles and cocktails with more plans for the future.

The build will include a new sound system, updated interior and boasts one of the biggest stages inside any Birmingham pub. At last this Birmingham boozer will bring its iconic history of live music back to life once again.
