The Old Crown in Digbeth to celebrate St Patrick’s Day all week!

Birmingham’s oldest inn, The Old Crown in Digbeth High Street, (theoldcrown.com) is celebrating St Patrick’s Day with a week long program of events celebrating the best in Irish culture. Showcasing food, drink, films, sport, music and more there will be something for everybody to enjoy. #StPatricksWeek kicks off on the 12th March with the pub’s official parade day party with viral superstar Frost Bit Boy and Rackhouse Pilfer flying in from Ireland for the event. Local talent will be performing too with Lampa, Mr Spacey (Swim Deep DJ Set), Sean Roberts and a DJ set from popular club night Moschino Hoe Versace Hottie.

On Monday 13th March the pub have teamed up with Jamesons for a night of Irish whiskey tasting. Explore four of Ireland’s best known and loved whiskies with industry experts on hand to answer any questions you may have.

Peaky Tours host a one-off event on the 14th exploring the Irish connection to the Real Peaky Blinders hosted by historian Prof. Carl Chinn MBE.

The Old Crown takeover Birminghams independent cinema ‘The Mockingbird’ for a screening of an Irish favourite ‘The War of The Buttons.’ All ticket holders will recieve 50% of food at the Old Crown.
