Go back five or six years ago to the Birmingham music scene, there was someone who took to the stage with an arsenal of a midi controller, electric guitar and a PC enclosed in a makeshift wooden flight case. New observers may have wondered if this was going to even work.
Energetic vocals are escorted by unique synth tones and slick guitar riffs as driving bass lines are injected into a carefully calibrated idiosyncratic engine of rhythm. A charismatic style of electro-pop splashed with elements of House and Techno, 10 Guitars takes care of it, and the first official release is due.
Switch Theory is an inviting, upbeat piece which brushes on an idea of existence and consciousness.
