Birmingham festive guide pick? XOYO reveals five-night winter takeover

XOYO Birmingham is not easing into Christmas or whispering into the New Year. From Boxing Day through to New Year’s Day, the Digbeth institution rolls out a packed run of parties welcoming winter Bassline and Desi festivals, a slick Dancehall bash and a multi-genre session with the kind of confidence that makes it the only address to attend this festive season.

Things kick off on Friday 26th December with DJ Mexy and Radio 1Xtra’s DJ Day Day returning for their now traditional Boxing Day shutdown. It is an early start and a long night, with a heavyweight DJ roster including DJ Larni, Kaylee Golding, Predz UK, DJ Denny Hus, Craig Reckless and DJ Taz, all steered by host Terence ‘Mr Bigs’ Edwards. Expect high-energy selections from doors open and a dancefloor that fills fast, as this one has become a fixed point in Birmingham’s festive calendar. Tickets here

Saturday 27th December starts in the afternoon as 4FOUR brings their Winter Bassline Festival to XOYO from 3pm. Trilla, Gemma Fox, Pantha and an all killer line up step in with a full throttle bassline takeover built on rewinds, reloads and big crowd moments. XOYO’s underground layout turns into a pressure chamber for bass, wrapping heavyweight sound around a room that lives for the drop. Tickets here

From 10.30pm the same night, Desi Mania transforms XOYO into a winter festival. Known for sold-out events and full-scale production, Desi Mania arrives with an all-night run of Desi anthems and big production. This one is about getting the crew together and bringing the party energy that does not dip from the first track to last call. Tickets here

New Year’s Eve belongs to Boxout, bringing an all black dress code and a dancehall-led countdown from 9pm through to 3am. With Melo D, Lamar G, Man Like Mars, DJ Danni, Buxley, DJ Trey and Esco bar on the decks, plus hosts Valentine and KS The Host running the room, expect a proper end of year release with sweat on the walls and a celebratory midnight moment. Tickets here

New Year’s Day keeps the pace with Shaqfive delivering a first day of 2026 link-up that pulls together Donch Deejay, DJ Mexy, Supa D and Terminal 4, alongside special guests from across the UK scene. Doors close early, the energy lands fast, and there is no gentle start to the year here. Tickets here

Five parties over seven days, this programme brings unapologetic energy, heavyweight DJs and full on party vibes that make XOYO Birmingham the definitive place to see out 2025 and kick off 2026 in style.
