Courtney Hadwin brings her extraordinary voice back to Birmingham on Thursday, 19th February, headlining the Hare & Hounds after a packed-out show at The Victoria last year.
The Durham-born singer-songwriter has spent the past few years quietly building towards a major breakthrough, and 2025 saw the release of her long awaited debut album, a record shaped by the highs, lows and growing pains of a young artist finding her footing in the world.
Many first encountered Hadwin during her viral 2018 America’s Got Talent audition, where a shy 13 year old stunned millions with a fearless, soul shaking rendition of “Hard to Handle.” That moment revealed a performer with the grit of classic rock and the emotional punch of a true storyteller.
Now, six years on, she’s channelled those experiences into a deeply personal debut, written and produced with Grammy winning songwriter Kevin Bowe. The result is a collection of coming of age songs that capture both the chaos and clarity of growing up in the spotlight.
Special guests Muddibrooke open the night with a rare acoustic set. The Derby alt rock/grunge trio, praised by BBC Radio 1, Kerrang! and Planet Rock, are known for their raw honesty and themes of identity, self acceptance and resilience. Stripped back, their songs hit even harder, spotlighting the emotional core beneath the distortion.
Expect a night of powerhouse vocals, heartfelt songwriting and two artists who wear their truth with pride. Tickets available now.
