A vibrant night of psych pop colour, indie fuzz and genre bending chaos arrives at The Sunflower Lounge on Tuesday, 26th May, as Hutch headline, joined by special guests Supersonic Fuzz Gun and Amphibious Priests.

Brighton’s Hutch have quickly become one of the UK’s most uplifting and imaginative new live acts, weaving whimsical psychedelic twang pop with bright, addictive hooks and a stage presence that radiates pure joy.

Emerging from lockdown with unstoppable momentum, they’ve sold out hometown staples like Green Door Store, Komedia and The Old Blue Last, while touring across the UK and Europe with artists including The Last Dinner Party, W.I.T.C.H, Oracle Sisters, Gitkin, Do Nothing and LOVE.

In 2025, the band teamed up with producer Iggy B (Penelope Isles, Deery, Gary Numan) to craft their upcoming EP and debut LP, recorded by the sea and steeped in the warmth that defines their sound. Alongside two headline UK tours, they’ve contributed backing vocals to Paris Paloma’s Good Boy and supported fundraisers for MAP, testicular cancer awareness and Parkinson’s research.

Their live show has expanded into something even more magical, now featuring harp, synth, flute and lush multi part harmonies described by Far Out Magazine as “Brian Wilson esque.” With support from Radio X, BBC Radio 6 Music (“Joyous” – Deb Grant) and BBC Radio 1, Hutch are firmly cementing themselves as one of the UK’s most exciting rising acts.

Birmingham’s Supersonic Fuzz Gun bring their self styled Stour pop to the lineup, a noisy, energetic indie/alt hybrid shaped by the Stourbridge legacy of Ned’s Atomic Dustbin and The Wonder Stuff. Expect fuzzy riffs, youthful chaos and a set full of local swagger.

West Midlands outfit Amphibious Priests open the night with their self described “electric mayhem”, a wild fusion of psychedelic rock, punk edges, funk grooves and soulful undertones. Colourful, character packed performances have marked their return to the stage after a 20 year hiatus.

A Tuesday night bursting with psych pop sparkle, indie grit and psychedelic punk funk energy, unmissable for anyone who loves live music that’s vibrant, unpredictable and full of personality.
