Tickets on sale Wednesday 17th June, 10am via my ticket.co.uk/artists/gareth-malone

Gareth Malone – the man who got the nation singing – is back on the road this autumn with Sing-A-Long-A-Gareth: At The Movies, a brand-new live show celebrating the unforgettable songs that have helped make movie moments magical.

Following the success of last year’s singalong tour, which saw thousands of people across the country fill theatres with song, laughter and joy, Gareth now turns his attention to the big screen. From sweeping cinema classics to feel-good favourites, At The Movies will bring audiences together for a night of iconic music, shared memories and the irresistible thrill of singing as one.

For decades, Gareth has inspired choirs in schools, workplaces and communities, becoming one of Britain’s best-loved champions of singing. With his warmth, humour and unmistakable passion for bringing people together, he has shown time and again that music has the power to lift spirits, break down barriers and turn a room full of strangers into a chorus.

Now, with his signature infectious energy, Gareth invites audiences to step into the spotlight and celebrate the movie songs that have soundtracked generations. Backed by his stellar live band and singers, as well as local choirs, he will lead a joyful journey through some of cinema’s most loved musical moments – from soaring anthems and heart-stopping ballads to uplifting favourites everyone knows by heart.

Audiences can expect a joyous singalong packed with songs from some of cinema’s most beloved moments, including Singin’ in the Rain, “Moon River” from Breakfast at Tiffany’s, “Stayin’ Alive” from Saturday Night Fever, “Take My Breath Away” from Top Gun, “City of Stars” from La La Land, and a Bond medley featuring “Nobody Does It Better” and “Live and Let Die”. Family favourites will also take centre stage, with music from Frozen, “How Far I’ll Go” from Moana, and “Don’t You Worry ’bout a Thing” from Sing, creating a feel-good celebration of the movie songs audiences know and love.

Commenting on the tour, Gareth says: I’m thrilled to be whisking you away to the movies for a night celebrating the power of song. We’ll raise the roof together one more time in a night of Oscars inspired fun and laughter. Don’t miss out on this chance to sing your heart out.”

Gareth Malone OBE has galvanised the British choral scene through his award-winning BBC series, concert tours and recordings. First appearing on TV in the BAFTA-winning series The Choir for BBC, Gareth has starred in multiple series since, including The Choir: Military Wives (BBC), Sing While You Work (BBC Two), and Naked Choir: Invictus Games (BBC Two).

He has had three number one records in the UK with the Military Wives Choir and the Gareth Malone All Star Choir for Children in Need.

Gareth is a Fellow of the Royal Academy of Music, holds an honorary doctorate from the University of East Anglia and was awarded the Freedom of the City of London in 2010. In 2012, he was made OBE in the Queen’s Birthday Honours for services to music.

Whether you’re out with friends, bringing the whole family, reliving favourite film moments, or simply wanting to experience the joy Gareth brings to a room, Sing-A-Long-A-Gareth: At The Movies is the ultimate feel-good night out.
