Mark your calendars, The Cat Show Live is returning to the NEC Birmingham on Saturday 12 September 2026, bringing together thousands of feline fans for a one-day celebration of cats, community and cat culture.
Now firmly established as the UK’s biggest non-competitive cat event, The Cat Show Live is set to welcome over 6,000 visitors for a fun, feel-good and educational day out designed for anyone obsessed with cats.
From meeting a huge variety of cat breeds and discovering new products, to hearing from experts and connecting with rescue organisations, The Cat Show Live offers a unique experience that puts cats at the very centre of the spotlight.
A Cat Lover’s Dream Day Out
The Cat Show Live brings together everything cat lovers adore, all under one roof.
Visitors can explore The Cat Village, where they’ll have the chance to meet a wide range of breeds and household pets, while learning more about feline personalities, care and responsible ownership.
There’s also Retail Avenue, home to an incredible line-up of cat brands including Ever Clean, Applaws, Kittilitt and the EveryCat Health Foundation. From treats and toys to wellness, lifestyle and everything in between to spoil your cats at home.
Visitors can also look forward to appearances from social media stars including Ragdoll Atticus and Harvey the Tux, as well as Fifi & Bongo, who will be sharing their skills in harness training and cat tricks.
And for those wanting to learn more about their cats, the event’s Theatre Talks will feature engaging sessions on behaviour, health, nutrition and modern cat care, with speakers and sessions including Kittysitty Cat Behaviourist, specialist grooming talks, and thought-provoking conversations from organisations such as The Good Grief Trust.
Celebrating the Cats Who Need Us Most
At the heart of the event is Hope Alley, The Cat Show Live’s dedicated rescue and welfare area.
This special space gives visitors the chance to connect with charities and rescues from across the UK, learn more about adoption and fostering, and discover the incredible work being done to help cats in need.
As part of its wider mission, The Cat Show Live continues to champion rescue awareness beyond the event too, through initiatives like its Rescue Directory and #Rescue100 campaign, helping more cats find loving homes all year round.
More Than Just a Show
While The Cat Show Live is packed with exciting things to see and do, it’s rooted in a bigger purpose to promote Responsible and Educated Cat Ownership (RECO) and help cat lovers feel more informed, empowered and connected.
Co-founder Sam Marsh says:
“The Cat Show Live is all about celebrating the joy cats bring to our lives, while also helping people become the best owners they can be. It’s fun, it’s inspiring, it’s full of heart, and in 2026 it’s going to be bigger and better than ever.”
VIP Tickets, Family Fun and Feline-Filled Experiences
For visitors wanting to make even more of the day, limited VIP ticket options are also available, offering exclusive perks, including early access and a VIP lounge.
With interactive features, expert advice, rescue awareness, shopping, community and plenty of photo-worthy moments, The Cat Show Live 2026 is shaping up to be one of the most exciting dates in the calendar for cat lovers across the UK.
