On Sunday 12th September, The Reggae Cookout will be returning to The Night Owl! And with special guest, the legendary Rhoda Dakar. DJ and lead singer of The Bodysnatchers who has previously worked with The Specials will be heading up to Digbeth for a Sunday afternoon of 60s, 70s and 80s ska and reggae.
Local DJ Milo Sadler and The Night Owls’ very own Mazzy Snape will be supporting and there will of course be amazing street food all day!
The cookout begins at 2pm and is FREE ENTRY all day long!
In keeping with the reggae theme, on Friday 10th September, The Reggulites will be live at The Night Owl too! The 7 piece Reggae band from Birmingham playing the music of Jacob Miller, Bob Marley, Taurus Riley, Max Romeo, Dennis Brown, Steel Pulse, UB40 & Junior Murvin to name a few.
