Taken from the new album, Racette released the dreamy, ethereal music video for the album’s focus track Come As You Are”; an intimate, warm reinterpretation of the iconic Nirvana hit she has been singing since her teenage years.

The track is accompanied by a new video, directed by Catherine Deslauriers and Steve Gagnon and edited by Laurie TB, which captures Racette in a slowed-down state while the world rushes around her. Scenes of women in white dancing around a campfire add a mystical, witch-inspired atmosphere to the visual reimagining, deepening the song’s emotional and cinematic resonance. Timed with her upcoming European tour, ‘Golden (Deluxe Edition)’ celebrates Racette’s expanding international presence. The collection features some of her most celebrated work, including fan favorites “From Friends to Strangers,” “Same Old Me”,nominated for Single of the Year at the Canadian Folk Music Awards, and her recent single “Common Denominator”. The Deluxe release also includes three new versions of previously released songs, offering listeners a fresh and intimate look into her evolving artistry.

Her 2024 album ‘Golden’ debuted at #3 on the Folk Alliance International charts, while her single “The Reasons (I’ll Be Alright)” appeared in the hit TV series Heartland. Previous releases ‘Satellite’ (2022) and ‘No Water, No Flowers’ (2019) drew praise across North America and helped earn her a Canadian Folk Music Award. Her European debut at The Great Escape Festival marked a pivotal moment in her growing global reach.

With an unwavering commitment to authenticity and a deeply collaborative, women-driven creative team since over 80% of her collaborators are women, Racette continues to champion stories of vulnerability, resilience, and self-discovery. Her heartfelt performances across North America, including at Osheaga, AmericanaFest, Folk Alliance International, and Canadian Music Week, have solidified her reputation as one of contemporary folk-pop’s most moving and distinctive voices.
