ALBERT’S SCHLOSS RELEASE WINTER MENU AHEAD OF THEIR OPENING ON DECEMBER 6

Albert’s Schloss unveil their spectacular winter season, known as Wintermärchen, set to appear in their newest venue in Birmingham

As the nights turn cold and the lights burn brighter, Albert’s Schloss Birmingham has unveiled its spectacular winter season, known as Wintermärchen. The menu has been released ahead of their forthcoming arrival in the city on December 6. 

DECADENT WINTER DRINKING

The winter season sees the launch of an exclusive menu of seasonal drinks, providing the perfect respite from the cold. From decadent winter cocktails, spritzes and schnapps, all the way to bier and beyond. 

The Winterzeit seasonal cocktail kreations are perfectly crafted like something out of a dark fairytale. Indulge in the Black Forest Martini (Beefeater gin, white cacoa, Sangue Morlacco cherry, cranberry, cream & chocolate), Gingerbread Old Fashioned (Woodford Reserve bourbon, gingerbread, bitters), Spiced Apple Strudel (Żubrówka Bison Grass vodka, Pedro Ximénez sherry, apple, lemon, cinnamon), Rhubarb and Raspberry Sour (Slingsby Rhubarb gin, Absolut Raspberri vodka, Aperol, lemon, aquafaba) and the Klementini (Diablese Spiced Clementine rum, Cointreau, orange, lemon, cinnamon foam). All £9.50. 

Cosy up with Haus Wonders including the Pink Grapefruit Paloma (Olmeca Blanco tequila, lime juice, Two Keys pink grapefruit), Bear Hunter Highball (Jameson whiskey, Bärenjäger Honey liqueur, lime, vanilla, Fever-Tree ginger ale) and Winterberry Punch (Grey Goose Vanilla vodka, Finders Lemon & Lime gin, Luxardo Sangue Morlacco, red berry iced tea, lemon, ginger beer). 

ALPINE INSPIRED COMFORT FOOD

The Cook Haus, Albert’s Schloss’ kitchen serving up indulgent Bavarian-Alpine food, has revealed a rugged and rustic winter menu, inspired by the mountain regions of Switzerland, Austria, Germany, France, and Italy. 

Bringing the very best of the mountain regions to the Cook Haus, the winter menu is a distinctly modern take on classic dishes served in Alpine Europe. 

Winter Alpine favourites include Fondue; Melted gruyère, emmental and fontina cheese, Franz and Friends white wine, kirsch, garlic slivers, haus pickles, sourdough + charlotte potatoes (minimum of two people) and French Onion Soup served in a haus baked sourdough; intense vegetable stock, Schwarzbier, roscoff parmesan cream, herb crumb, onion and melting gruyère.
