A cornerstone of British indie returns to Birmingham as Andy Bennett takes over The Victoria on Friday, 10th April, for a night celebrating decades of songwriting, touring and musical evolution.
Andy first emerged with Sargent, earning early praise with tracks like ‘The Place I’m In’ and ‘Takin Me High’. The band’s transformation into The Elements brought a Top 10 hit and national attention, culminating in a defining moment: an invitation from Ocean Colour Scene to join them on tour.
That collaboration would shape the next chapter of his career. After leaving The Elements, Andy became a full member of Ocean Colour Scene, contributing to eight studio albums and performing to audiences across the world. His distinctive voice, musicianship and songwriting have made him a familiar and much loved figure within the British indie landscape.
