“Art is Here” brand new art exhibition opens in the heart of Birmingham City Centre Golden Mile

Birmingham Art Zone in conjunction with our partnership with Westside Bid Mike Olley & his team are pleased to announce that it is moving into two brand new permanent venues for our art exhibitions. Staying in the heart of the golden mile on Broad Street, opposite the Black Sabbath Bridge, you will find The O Bar, 264 Broad St. Well known for its vibrant music night life & around the corner on the beautiful historic canal walk can be found Gin Vault on Gas Street Basin offering a relaxing afternoons and a delightful menu. Both of these venues will host some of the finest artists in the West Midlands. “Art is Here” Art Exhibition launches with an exciting opportunity for you to meet the artists on Tuesday 14th November from 6 onwards.

The exhibition “Art is Here” is on from 10th Nov until the end of January.

Building on our previously successful exhibition with Kirk Andrews at Velvet Music Rooms BAZ continue gives an opportunity for established and up & coming artists around the West Midlands to show case their talents. Vistors can walk around both venues and be expected to see such variety of artworks based around music icons & step into Birmingham streets scenery or if you prefer creative abstract artworks. All artworks can be viewed for free and be purchased either by the helpful bar staff or contact the artists directly to arrange a personal meeting with them at the venue.

Founder of Birmingham Art Zone Paula Gabb aims to give local artists an opportunity to showcase their artworks to the community. Please come along and enjoy viewing art without the pressure of a salesperson and maybe relax and enjoy a meal in the afternoons at the Gin Vault or be entertained with live music on a weekly every Tuesday evenings at the O Bar brought by Jim Simpson Henry’s Blueshouse.
