Autumn is here and The Birmingham Botanical Gardens are full of colour as a palette of seasonal shades start to appear. Whether you’re looking for a day out with the family or need some time to yourself, the Gardens are open seven days a week for you to explore.
Join our upcoming guided tour and see all the sights of autumn
Learn more about the Gardens in autumn as well as winter twigs and berries on our upcoming guided tour of the Gardens where a member of our gardening team take you around the Gardens. The tour will start at 1pm on November 25th and will last appoximately an hour. Guided tours are inclusive in the price of admission. To take part, all you need to do is to meet at main reception at the appointed time.
NEW in our Garden Centre
You can always find a range of home decor, cards and gits in our Garden Centre, as well as a range of indoor and outdoor plants. Looking for a new project to get stuck into? We have a range of new stock at the Gardens, including this greenhouse minature dollhouse. This DIY minature greenhouse includes a range of minature plants, flowers and vases, photoframes and tools. We have new items being added to our shop constantly, stop by and take a look. Entry to the Garden Centre is free – so if you want to pop in without visiting the Gardens, you’re more than welcome to.
Dinosaurs will be roaming the Gardens this October half term
This October half term, Jurassic Encounters will be taking over the Gardens for a must-see family event! An interactive installation of 50 life-sized, animatronic dinosaurs will be at the Gardens from the Jurassic, Triassic and Cretaceous periods.
