Recommended live music in Birmingham this month:
Local indie pop band Homeowner play The Sunflower Lounge on the 2nd Jan with support from Caballo Blanco and Harry Jordan. Dub Smugglers Vs Young Culture play soundsystem vibes at Hare & Hounds Friday the 8th. Field Harmonics are a West Midlands based electro-pop duo and they play the Sunflower Lounge Sat 9th.
This is Tmrw presents another local band ‘Victories At Sea‘ at Hare & Hounds with support from Flamingo Flame on the 21st. Norther folk singer Adam French plays ORT Cafe the 23rd.
Another This is Tmrw show brings Dilly Dally, Tigercub and Sunshine Frisbee Lazers to Hare & Hounds on the 25th Jan. Electronic pop sounds of MUTEMATH electrify the 02 Academy on the 26th.
Brummie/Londoner Mike Skinner will be DJing to a sold out crowd at Hare & Hounds the 29th and the legendary sounds of Massive Attack resonate at 02 Academy Sat 30th. Warp Records heroes PLAID play to another sold out crowd at the Dark Horse on the 31st.
