Birmingham St. Patrick’s charity fun run, The Emerald Mile

Birmingham St. Patrick’s Festival and Parade really need your help!

This year will see the first ever Parade Day charity fun run, The Emerald Mile.

The organisers currently need 30 more runners to sign up in order for the event to go ahead.

The fun run will take place on Parade Day (Sunday 12 March) at 10am, and is a two mile dash around the parade route.

You do not have to run the Parade – you can run, jog, walk, or even dance! There will be prizes for the best fancy dress outfits (but fancy dress is not obligatory) and there will also be prizes for the best times, although the aim of the Emerald Mile is just to get people involved and having fun!

Entry was previously £10 for adults or £5 for under 16’s, but as costs are now covered, there is a discount code so that runners can partake for free.

To take advantage of this, please enter discount code “FOTF” at checkout online.

If runners would like to raise sponsorship for a charity of choice or the Parade itself, ask for the sponsorship form, or join in simply for the craic.
