Popeyes® UK has announced its first location in the West Midlands today [Monday 22nd January] bringing its first delivery kitchen outside of London to the heart of Birmingham City Centre.
The wait is over. After much anticipation, chicken fans in the UK’s second city will soon be able to get their hands on the Chicken Sandwich that broke the internet, because Popeyes® UK has announced that it will finally be landing in Birmingham.
With the closest Popeyes® currently over an hour away, the announcement marks Popeyes’® first opening in the West Midlands and promises to be the beginning of an exciting journey for the much-loved brand in the region, with aims to grow the brand’s presence in the city by the end of the year.
Popeyes will open their first delivery kitchen on St George’s Street. The brand new kitchen will be the brand’s 4th opening in 2024, and the chain’s 39th location since landing in the UK in November 2021.
Chicken fans in Birmingham will be able to experience Popeyes® world-famous shatter crunch for themselves once they get their hands on the mouth-watering menu, including the iconic Popeyes® Chicken Sandwich which contains its signature 12-hour marinated chicken, and original Southern biscuits and gravy.
Bringing a taste of New Orleans to the West Midlands, Popeyes® UK will be available for delivery throughout Birmingham city centre via ordering direct through the Popeyes® website, or by placing an order via the Popeyes website, or on Uber Eats or Just Eat*.
Elsewhere, 2024 is set to be another big year for Popeyes® as it continues its nationwide rollout with 30 new locations, including London Waterloo Station, Exeter and Aberdeen, throughout the year.
