Either you pay a visit on the day or camp on-site, Bloodstock Open Air guarantees a fun time to enjoy with your friends or family, with great music, delicious food, a large variety of ales and spirits, fairground rides, late night entertainment and so many other exciting surprises!!

Don’t forget to pass by the metal market where you can purchase official band merchandize, and make sure to stop by the signing tents to meet some of your favorite bands in person!!

Before getting into detail for this year’s metal celebration, here are some interesting facts about Bloodstock’s history.

Bloodstock Festival was founded back in 2001 by Paul Gregory and Vince Brotheridge.

After the lateral’s departure, Gregory’s son Adam and daughters, Rachel Greenfield and Victoria Hungerford, joined forces to help their father continue building Bloodstock’s legacy. The result? Bloodstock has won several awards throughout the years, with the latest ones being 2017’s Live UK Music Business Award for ‘’ Best Festival under 15,000 ‘’ and 2016’s Kerrang Award for ‘’Best Festival’’.

Bloodstock Open Air, has become the UK’s Biggest Independent Metal Festival, showcasing one of the strongest metal line ups on UK soil, combining different styles of metal in a 4-day psychedelic journey, where you can witness decades of music history being performed live on stage through your eyes.

Timeless classics. Intoxicating sounds. Legendary performers.

This year, Bloodstock Open Air opens its gates to over 120 international bands, performing across 4 stages, from the old & new underground to the biggest idols of metal and rock.

Get ready for mind – blowing riffs, thunderous roars and aggressive mosh pits.

In other words, get a taste of absolute chaos.

The ‘’blood suppliers’’ that will be dominating this year’s stages, include iconic rock-stars, masters of steel and corpse painted demons from the nihilistic black metal scene.
