A full throttle night of DIY punk energy, slacker rock charm and Midlands songwriting talent hits The Victoria on Tuesday, 7th April as Boss Cass headlines, joined by Trust Club and Reuben Lovett.

South West firestarter Boss Cass has become one of the most talked about names in the UK underground: a one man punk machine armed with fuzzy riffs, an old school ghetto blaster and a chaotic stage presence that feels completely unfiltered. Since bursting onto the scene in 2022, he’s racked up more than 170 DIY shows, torn through festivals including Glastonbury, Boardmasters, Burn It Down, Leopallooza, Outcider and more, and done it all without management or industry backing.

His sound lands somewhere between Soft Play, Beastie Boys and IDLES, but the attitude, humour and sheer ferocity are unmistakably his own. Boss Cass shows are sweaty, loud and wildly entertaining, the kind of set that converts entire rooms into instant fans. With support slots alongside Fat Dog, Heavy Lungs, The Meffs, Carsick, Mother Vulture and multiple BBC Introducing “Artist of the Week” nods, he’s quickly becoming a cult figure in the alt punk world.

Main support comes from Midlands trio Trust Club, who blend slacker rock looseness with melodic indie punk hooks. Equal parts goofy and razor tight, they channel lofi grunge, 90s alt rock and modern indie influences into something warm, catchy and joyfully scrappy. With two EPs released and a debut album on the horizon, they’ve already shared stages with Speedy Ortiz, Weakened Friends, Snake Eyes, Supermilk and more.

Opening the night is West Midlands songwriter Reuben Lovett, whose “folk rock that refuses to be put in a box” blends tenderness, grit and sharp storytelling. His songs move between heartfelt intimacy and modern, genre bending edge, offering a grounded and emotive start to the evening.

A stacked Tuesday lineup bursting with punk spirit, indie charm and raw Midlands talent that’s perfect for anyone who loves their live music loud, loose and full of personality.
