The Alchemist is bringing its signature theatrical flair to Christmas in Birmingham this December with serves born from nostalgic favourites such as trifle and bounty-inspired cocktails along with a loaded festive smash burger. Launching on 17th November, guests can also get into the spirit with a three-course set menu, all for just £40. T’is the season after all… details below.
New Christmas cocktails include:
- The Trifle: With multiple layers and a foam top, the cocktail is made up of Ketel One Vodka, Sarti Sicilian Blood Orange Aperitif, tangerine jelly, and crowned with creamy Advocaat foam.
- The Last Bounty: Inspired by the nation’s most polarising chocolate and combining Mozart Coconut Liqueur, Bacardi Coconut, Briottet Cacao Dark, coconut cream, and white chocolate foam.
- Not Terry’s Chocolate Oyster: Chocolate… orange… At Christmas? The Alchemist’s iconic cosmic oysters take on familiar Christmas flavours.
When it comes to Christmas food, guests can enjoy a three-course festive menu for £40, with the option to add two cocktails for an extra £25. Highlight dishes include:
- Turkey in a Basket: Crispy old bay seasoned buttermilk fried turkey, pork and apple stuffing, festive fries, cranberry slaw, and aromatic jus.
- Loaded Festive Burger: Loaded with a smashed beef burger, cheese, a pork and apple patty, bacon jam, truffle mayo, and onion rings, all served alongside glazed pigs in blankets, fries, and dipping gravy.
