Bug Teeth take the spotlight at The Victoria on Thursday, 27th November, bringing their genre-blurring sound to one of Birmingham’s most intimate grassroots stages. What began as PJ’s solo project in 2018 has since evolved into a full-band experience, known for its dreamy textures, ambient-pop foundations and bold sonic experimentation.
Their latest EP ‘Lucky Me, Lucky Mud’, released via Come Play With Me Records and EMI North, sees the band weaving together DnB breakbeats, shimmering synths and soaring vocals, all underpinned by a literary, otherworldly sensibility.
With past performances alongside The Orielles, Melody’s Echo Chamber, and bdrmm, and appearances at Latitude, Deershed and Live at Leeds, Bug Teeth are fast becoming a standout name in the UK’s alt-pop landscape.
Support comes from Emma Howett and The Genuine Noise, whose catchy electro-pop brings a playful, melodic energy to the night, and Pear Drop, a rising Birmingham indie outfit delivering jangly guitars and youthful charm in spades.
Expect a night of lush soundscapes, heartfelt hooks and rising talent. Tickets are on sale now.
