Christmas news from Dishoom Birmingham pop-up bar & cafe specials

Dishoom have brand new festive specials: the Dishoom Turkey Raan Bun (there’s a Vegan Raan Bun, too), and the Bun Maska Pudding. They’re available in the café now. They’ve also launched a pop-up Christmas bar on the Dishoom Birmingham veranda, overlooking the city’s sparkling Christmas market. Snuggle beneath cosy blankets and heaters and enjoy Chai Eggnog, Mulled Wine or Naughty Chai (all just £5.50 in the acknowledgment of Christmas spirit). The choicest views and, from December 12th to 15th, a fine line-up of festive entertainment.

TURKEY RAAN BUN 

Whole turkey leg is prepared in the traditional Indian raan style until meltingly tender. The meat is then piled into a warm brioche bun amidst cranberry mayo, spinach, onions and a gentle slice of brie. Enjoy with Dishoom slaw, salli crisp-chips and deep-fried green chillies. 13.90

BUN MASKA PUDDING

The traditional bread-and-butter pudding is given a festive twist. Bun Maska is baked with a mingling of nuts and custard, with lots of nutmeg and a hint of cardamom. Served with a scoop of cinnamon ice cream to finish. 7.50
