Conspiracy theories have moved from the margins of the internet to the centre of mainstream culture.
From the moon landing and the Mandela Effect to simulation theory and hidden power structures, these debates now dominate podcasts, social feed and everyday conversations.
This May, audiences will experience those conversations brought to life on stage when The Forbidden Realm of Conspiracies: Uncovered embarks on the first stage of a major 33-date UK tour.
The bold immersive live experience is set to open at The Drill in Lincoln on Thursday, 7 May.
It will then go on to visit Worcester’s Swan Theatre (12 May), Billingham’s Forum Theatre (15 May), The Albany Theatre in Coventry (20 May), Dudley Town Hall (22 May), Cambridge Corn Exchange (30 May) and the Gatehouse Theatre at Stafford on 31 May.
Blending cinematic projection, immersive sound design and live audience polling, the production transforms the theatre into a charged, shared environment where ideas collide in real time.
Across a tightly constructed 105-minute experiences, audiences move through some of the most debated themes of the modern era. The room responds collectively. Opinions surface. Certainty shifts. The atmosphere evolves with every reaction.
Performer Marco Quille says: “Conspiracy theories are powerful because they sit right on the edge of what people think they know. In an immersive setting, you can feel that uncertainty shift in real time.
“Every audience responds differently – and that makes each performance unpredictable and electric.”
Producer Charlie Aspinall, founder of CAJ Productions, adds: “Whether people believe them, question them or reject them entirely, conspiracy theories are shaping our cultural conversation.
“We wanted to create a live environment that captures that intensity and puts audiences at the centre of it.”
