Digbeth Comedy Club Launch

The Old Crown in Digbeth, Birmingham’s oldest pub, is thrilled to announce the launch of their brand new comedy night, which will take place on the last Monday of every month. The first event takes place on Monday 24th April and promises to be a night of laughter and entertainment.

The new comedy night is set to take place in the famous pub’s beer garden, where guests can enjoy the intimate and cosy atmosphere. The event will feature a range of talented comedians, both local and national, who will take to the stage to deliver their unique brand of humour. The launch line-up includes award winning stand up comedian Eric Rushton, local Mary Flanigan, Jessie Nixon and Bristol’s very own Alasadair Wallace.

The Old Crown’s new comedy night is the perfect addition to the vibrant Digbeth nightlife scene, providing a fun and entertaining night out for locals and visitors alike. With a lineup of exciting comedians, guests can look forward to an evening of side-splitting comedy, delicious drinks, and a lively atmosphere.

“We’re delighted to launch our new comedy night at The Old Crown,” said the pub’s owner, Ciaran Healy. “We wanted to offer something different to our customers and provide a platform for both established and up-and-coming comedians. We can’t wait for guests to experience what promises to be a night of laughter, fun, and great company.”

Tickets for the first comedy night at The Old Crown are available now and can be purchased from the pub’s website or in person. Early booking is advised as tickets are limited.
