A three band feast of grunge pop, slacker rock and post hardcore lands at The Victoria on Friday 22nd May, as Felicette, Trust Club and Sinews join forces for a night of loud, melodic and brilliantly off centre alternative music.
London’s Felicette, named after the first cat in space, are fast becoming one of the most exciting new voices in UK alt rock. Blending 90s leaning grunge pop with big guitars, sticky hooks and deadpan lyrical bite, they channel the spirit of Juliana Hatfield, The Breeders, Nirvana and Veruca Salt while carving out something unmistakably their own.
Featuring members of Cheerbleederz, Supermilk and Painter, the quartet’s debut EP Go to Hell earned BBC Radio 6 Music support, and with a full length album due in 2026, they’re a band on the rise, and one you’ll want to catch early.
Midlands trio Trust Club bring their irresistible blend of indie, slacker rock and lo-fi grunge warmth. Equal parts playful and precise, Ali, Matt and Noah channel 90s alternative influences through a modern indie punk lens, creating sets that feel euphoric, charming and effortlessly fun.
With two EPs released and a debut album in the works, they’ve already shared stages with Speedy Ortiz, Weakened Friends, Snake Eyes, Supermilk, Me Rex and more. Expect big smiles, big riffs and a room full of people won over within minutes.
Oxford’s Sinews complete the bill with their thoughtful, heavy and refreshingly earnest take on post hardcore. Their EPs ‘Reanimated’ (2024) and ‘Choreography’ (2025) earned praise from Nightshift Magazine, who highlighted their ability to “find the sweet spot between thoughtful intricacy and musical violence.”
Never macho, always heartfelt, Sinews deliver a sound that’s intense without losing its emotional core. They’ve shared stages with Mclusky, Fucked Up, Thank, Cassels, Other Half and more, a testament to their place in the UK’s underground heavy scene.
A brilliantly curated night of grunge pop hooks, slacker rock joy and post hardcore catharsis. Perfect for anyone who loves their alternative music loud, honest and full of character.
