First UK space to explore food art histories, and innovation within food and sensory design coming to Brum!

Gulp is a place for meeting, learning and eating.

It is the first UK space to explore food art histories, and showcase innovation within food and sensory design through a programme of sensory dining experiences and activities.

Gulp occupies the room adjacent to a studio in a Grade II listed building in the heart of Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter. The communal table seats up to 10 people and will be used to accommodate talks, meetings, round tables, workshops and dining experiences.

The juxtaposition of art studio, kitchen and Gulp combine to create a unique facility supporting the use of food as an art material, where food is the starting point for a deeper exploration of the multi-sensory act of eating.

HIRE GULP

Gulp is also available to hire. More than a meeting room, Gulp provides a sophisticated venue for clients seeking something out of the ordinary. Eclectically designed, featuring contemporary art and a feature wall inspired by 17th Century Dutch painting, it is sure to impress you and your clients and make any occasion memorable.

Gulp‘s communal table can accommodate Meetings, Away Days, Team Building, Senior Team Experiences and Special Occasions, and with Christmas on the horizon, there’s no better place to treat your staff and clients to an unforgettable event.
