This August and September Jewellery Quarter hotspot, The Button Factory, presents a series of global-themed parties in their secret garden space: Summer In The City. Starting with a Mexico City themed party on the 5th August and closing the series with a Bangkok, full moon-style party on Saturday 16th September, this is the place to be this Summer.
Here’s the full lineup of events at The Button Factory:
- Saturday 5th August – Mexico City, Mexico
With live Mariachi band The Mexican Way performing a medley of Mexican classics and some Mariachi-style covers of contemporary hits! As well as DJs, tasty tacos and margaritas available all evening.

- Saturday 12th August – Kingston, Jamaica
With live reggae music from The Big Ship Alliance, jerk street food, DJs and plenty of rum-based cocktails, you will immediately feel immersed in Jamaican culture.

- Saturday 26th August – New Orleans, USA
Get ready for a Mardi Gras party with live music from Head Rush Brass Band, DJs, free beads, paraphernalia, street food, cocktails and more!

- Saturday 16th September – Bangkok, Thailand
The Bitten Peach bring their raucous energy to the yard with drag queens Lilly SnatchDragon, Chai T Grande & Pad Thai hosting games, lip syncs and more. Plus you can expect mouth watering street food, fruity cocktails and DJs bringing the party vibes all night.

After launching their secret garden ‘The Yard’ at the end of May with a big celebration consisting of live music from Sam Redmore, DJs, street food and more, The Button Factory then announced Summer In The City which would be taking place across the Summer months. Across June and July the Jewellery Quarter has seen the outdoor space transformed into Rio De Janeiro, Dublin and Chicago with live performances, dancers, special guest DJs, themed street food and tasty cocktails.
