Leeds collective Eades headline The Victoria, Birmingham, on Wednesday, 15th October, delivering a night of genre-bending post-punk and offbeat energy. Known for their raw textures, rhythmic convulsions and satirical edge, Eades operate more like a creative workshop than a traditional band, blending the talents of songwriters, producers and engineers into a sound that’s both chaotic and compelling.

Their music has been described as “David Byrne and Lou Reed’s dyslexic child playing out of a Motorola Pebl,” and it fits. Think Bowery punk misreading British post-punk’s instruction manual, stitched together with lo-fi grit and a restless pulse.

Joining them is Birmingham’s Alfresco Love Sounds, the dreamy psych-pop project of multi-instrumentalist Tom Ward. With lush arrangements and hypnotic melodies, the band conjure a sound that’s immersive and cinematic. Now performing as a full live outfit, they’re poised to make a serious impact on the UK festival circuit.

Opening the night are Faucet Van Gough, a rising indie rock act from Birmingham whose melodic edge and DIY spirit make them one to watch.

Expect a night of sonic experimentation, surreal lyricism and bold performances. Tickets available now.
