Bath-based dream-pop quartet Night Swimming headline The Victoria on Wednesday, 24th September. Blending the glistening textures of early Wolf Alice with the hypnotic currents of Slowdive, and grounded by the spacious trip-hop rhythms of Portishead and Massive Attack, their live set promises a lush sonic journey. Expect swirling guitars, airy vocals, and immersive arrangements that dissolve the boundary between stage and audience!
Joining them are West Midlands five-piece St Cecilia who deliver a shoegaze-charged ambient folk experience honed on stages across Birmingham, Moseley, and Wolverhampton. Drawing inspiration from Cocteau Twins and Slowdive, they layer intricate harmonies over droning guitars and pulsing rhythms, crafting atmospheres both expansive and intimate.
Opening the night, Bo Bardot presents a heartfelt acoustic set. Often compared to a female Jeff Buckley, her raw, soaring voice and delicate guitar work create moments of profound vulnerability and quiet power.
A night of ethereal dream pop, brooding shoegaze folk, and stripped-back acoustic soul awaits!
