It’s hard to believe it’s nearly October, and with the summer behind us, as well as a surprise September heatwave, it’s already been an eventful year. But Digbeth isn’t stopping yet, as there’s still so many exciting events to look forward to in the last three months of the year. Back of the Bar: Eighty Eight Miles – Friday 13th October
On quite possibly the spookiest day of the year (Friday 13th!) Back of the Bar presents an all-star lineup of local talent with Eighty Eight Miles headlining The Night Owl for an 80s-inspired indie rock party! Support on the night comes from Genevieve Miles, Leah Wilcox and Feelings Mutual plus you can expect spooktacular DJ sets from rising stars Overpass and Quentin Francis as it leads into iconic disco club night Voulez Vous. Killer Klub from Outer Space: A B-movies themed Halloween Party – Friday 27th October
A B-Movies themed party with live music from Martian Social Club (Unique, cosmic, absurd & truly original) and Hospital Radio (Everyone’s favourite garage/gospel/surf/lounge punks) – paying homage to the golden age of cinema. Also on the night you can enjoy DJs Ed Edwards and Mary Cherry playing B-Movie Screamers, Crypt-Kickers, No-No, Terrifying Trash, Haunted Garage Rock & other Shockers all night long.

Digbeth working community Zellig presents the Digbeth Halloween open day in collaboration with Digbeth Estate.
