I-VO in Concert 30th June at Birmingham REP

Internationally renowned musician I-VO will be touching down at Birmingham REP, Sunday 30th June. This one off concert – co-presented by BE FESTIVAL and Fierce Festival – will include some of his most iconic songs with tracks from his new album, Sculptures. With a breathtaking voice and dark lyricism, his performance makes for a haunting and deeply moving musical experience. I-VO has received numerous international awards for dance and theatre and has presented his work across Europe, South America and North America.

I-VO (Ivo Dimchev) is also a talented choreographer and performer and will be opening BE FESTIVAL 2018 (Tuesday 3 July) with his contentious show P-Project.

Press Quotes:

“Animalistic one moment, delicate the next, he meshes darkness and lightness with verbal and physical dexterity.” New York Times

“His beautiful singing sounds like a voice on an old record: poignantly far away.” Financial Times “Those with musical talent come in a wide array of styles but there are few as distinct as Ivo Dimchev. His performances are more theatrical as his voice carries a tone that calls for every ounce of your attention. Ivo talked about all of the skills he puts out on display from his latest album, Sculptures, to the provocative turn his act can take.” ZO magazine
