A wildly inventive night of alt rock theatre, indie punk bite and post grunge weight hits The Victoria on Tuesday, 5th May, as Industry Standard headline, with support from The Caroline Bomb and Zero Sun.

London’s Industry Standard are a band that refuses to sit neatly in any box. Instead, they tear the box up, set it on fire and turn it into a prop. Their shows exist somewhere between punk gig and surreal performance art, led by their Cuban Italian frontperson whose chaotic, game show host charisma pulls the room into a world that’s equal parts hilarious, unsettling and strangely heartfelt.

Their self styled “Wonky Tonk Swamp Pop™” is a genre smashing collision of discordant riffs, disco strut, hardcore flashes, country twang and industrial noise. Add in immersive storytelling, handmade props, striking costumes and their trademark rewired telephone mic, and you get a show that feels like stepping into a fever dream cartoon, one that can flip from absurdity to raw emotion in a heartbeat.

With sold out support slots for Warmduscher and Shelf Lives, plus a debut album currently in the works, Industry Standard are fast becoming one of the most exciting and unpredictable underground acts in the UK.

Coventry’s The Caroline Bomb bring a blast of indie punk attitude straight from the city centre. Expect sharp hooks, punchy rhythms and a set that balances grit with melody.

Opening the evening are Birmingham’s Zero Sun, delivering a heavy, melodic blend of alt rock and post grunge. Their sound sits comfortably between 90s grit and modern alternative edge, setting the tone with atmosphere, weight and emotional intensity.

A brilliantly off kilter Tuesday night of punk theatre chaos, indie punk energy and grunge soaked alt rock, perfect for anyone who loves live music that’s bold, strange and bursting with character.
