Inspiral Carpets to play Birmingham 6th December!

They are not only the band that famously gave Noel Gallagher his first job in music but are arguably one of three reasons why Manchester guitar music became famous around the world before Oasis existed.

Inspiral Carpets are amongst the elite of legendary nineties bands from the city, alongside Stone Roses and Happy Mondays, and they are on their way to play a show in Birmingham.

Soundtracking millions of lives with chart hits including ‘This Is How It Feels’ and ‘Saturn Five’, the band’s story is one of thirteen UK Top 40 singles, thousands of cow-adorned ‘Cool As F**k’ t-shirts transforming them into accidental 90’s cult-fashion icons, big money record deals and Mr Gallagher helping to lift their gear from venue-to-venue before he was famous. Anything but dull!

With as many stories to tell as the huge sell-out tours, Top Of The Pops appearances and brushes with other heroes of the music world that they have enjoyed, Inspiral Carpets head your way, bringing their songbook of instantly recognisable indie disco standards.
